Large enough to be useful Finally, a wide enough mat. Wide enough for a man. Actually, a smallish sweaty man. Sweating on the carpet is not cool. Definitely not for heavy ellipticals on carpet. Seems to be made decent but do not use for elliptical on carpet. It makes the machine very unsteady because the material is very flimsy. Should be fine on hard surfaces. It is a great size but I had to fold the corners in to give it a little stronger support. The machine still rocks a little, which it didn’t when on carpet only. Regret my purchase decision. You live, you learn. Bought two of these in March, 2017. Have a treadmill on one and an elliptical on the other. I was just asked a question from someone on an inversion table I bought in May, 2017. Specifically, whether a mat was needed. So, I went to check the condition of both mats on the treadmill and elliptical.
