if you are relatively fit with decent upper and lower body strength the blue is a good fit. the heavier is over kill and the … i use this spri band 1-4 x a week…for years! Make sure to buy the right resistance This is my second SPRI product that I have bought. I had the blue band and just replaced with the purple. On Amazon Prime Day I got the blue. After much use and making the resistance tighter it started to break at the seam close to the handle. I didn’t want to be in the situation, as in past, when it snaps at you during a workout so I replaced it.These units hold up well but if you want to get a better resistance make sure you buy the one that’s right for you.
