Great bed for the price Assembly was complicated and tedious. I’m a mechanic by trade, so I’m used to putting things together, and this thing took 4+ hours or so. That said, I was impressed at how well everything lined up once assembled. Given the purchase price, this thing looks good once you’re finished.This bed will arrive in two boxes, about one hundred pounds each. Great budget platform bed! UPDATED I had been searching for a low-priced platform bed option for some time when I ran across this one on Amazon.com. A little leery (due to the negative reviews), I ordered it anyway and hoped for the best. Thankfully, I was not disappointed. Have a powerdrill on standby TLDR: Great product but have a powerdrill ready.Fair warning, this will probably take you about 8 hours to assemble. It was pretty grueling, especially the end when you screw in dozens of screws to secure the platform panels to the top of the frame; they are not predrilled and most would not easily go down all the way and be flush. So I got out the powerdrill and bored some holes, which greatly helped. I was pretty frustrated towards the end but now I can appreciate the final…
