How to Use Exercise Balls
Yoga balls offer a highly versatile workout. Sometimes called stability balls, they were originally developed for rehabilitative therapy and are now used for a variety of fitness programs. You can perform several exercises on a stability ball to tone your legs and glutes.

Position a stability ball against a wall and leaning against it.
Do leg curls.
Lie on the floor with your lower legs draped over the stability ball and your arms stretched out to your either side.
Lift your hips off the floor while keeping your lower back straight.
Bend your knees and pull your heels inward to your buttocks.
Your feet should roll over the ball.
Straighten your knees to return to the starting position and repeat.
