12″x2″ NOT 10″x2″ or even 9″x2″ I have ordered bands before and had to deal with the bands being too wide (i.e the resistance starts after my legs have already separated). I have used these bands in my physical therapy sessions. I liked them, so I decided to purchase them for my home. The bands claim to be 9″x2″ (or 10″x2″) But these are even wider. Huge Bands!! As a coach I often use mini bands with my athletes as part of their warm up. I made the mistake of ordering these mini bands, to replace some of my older ones. I accidentally ordered perform betters new XL bands. These bands are huge! I have a lot of female athletes so most of them cannot create enough tension on the bands to use them correctly. I did ’80 Day Obsession’ with these, and they lasted almost all 80 days; with 2 weeks to go, the black band snapped right down the middle during a move where you walk side-to-side on your knees and come up to standing. I was not hurt, in fact it stroked my ego a bit that my thighs are apparently strong enough to break the black band. The cast uses these same bands, but only the yellow, green and blue; the black came in very handy so I didn’t always have to double up bands. These worked great…
