LiteFuze LT-3000 3000 Watt Voltage Converter Transformer – Step Up/Down – 110V/220V – Circuit Breaker Protection
The LiteFuze LT series 3000 watt Step Up/Step Down heavy duty voltage transformer is equipped with circuit breaker protection so you’ll never need to replace fuses on overload. It also features the convertingbox technology which ensures lighter weight and noise reduction during operation. The LT-3000 is compatible to operate on 50 hz or 60 hz. It is designed to convert single phase 110-120V to 220-240V or 220-240V to 110-120V. This CE certified transformer is safer with advanced side vents for ventilation. The efficiency factor of LT series voltage transformers is 1.5, use this factor to determine the correct size voltage transformer for your electronics/applainces. Just multiply the efficiency factor times the max power(watt) rating of your product and then purchase a transformer of atleast that size. LT series transformers are equipped with high grade copper coils which makes them energy efficient during voltage conversion. 5 Year Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty

Works – but dangerous! I’m a technician who works on commercial label printing equipment. I bought this to be able to power up some circuit boards that require 230V.I have to say that it works. I’m able to power up a 230V (single-phase) motor controller, and test it.BUT – this unit is very dangerous! I found out the hard way that when the power switch is in the OFF position, the plugs are NOT de-energized. As I was disconnecting a unit, I drew sparks. Quite a shock … literally. It turns out…
Toroidal auto transformer (Non isolated output) Updated fr 6-21-19It’s over rated…On the box its printed 2000 watts and itâs scratched out and then it says 3000 watts. The transformer is actually a Toroidal auto-transformer and is non isolated from input to output in order to keep cost and weight down.Toroidal is far more superior than I & E laminations. Also when I opened the power supply I discovered that the 120 volt output thermal breaker is 20 amps = 2,400 watts max. The 240 volt output thermal breaker is 10…
