I started a table project using some Ipe decking scraps and had a good deal of trouble using the standard drill bit. I was ordering screws to build a table when I came across this drill bit. Before ordering this what I had was the standard drill bit that comes with the K4MS package. I haven’t used my jig very much since I bought it so my standard drill bit is in good shape but you never know when you’ll break the tip.
