Came totally apart after 1 wash Bought this pair on Nov. 30th, 2018 and put it in washer on Jan. 24, 2019. I loved this pair because it did not fit sloppily like so many in this style. Did not stretch and fit perfectly. I’m an 8 M and don’t have a wide foot. Put them in a cold water machine wash today which they should easily be able to tolerate but they came out with all the threads totally snapped along the plastic sole edge so the rest of the slipper is completely detached. I’ll simply have to throw them out. No way…
I am disappointed in this slipper I am disappointed in this slipper. I have worn Isotoners for years and loved them. I usually buy them at a local retailer, but am having trouble finding them. Ordered online. When I started wearing them, I found little black fuzzies on the floor. The terry fabric was coming off. Tried to wash them to see if that would stop the problem, but it continued. Unexpected from Isotoner The picture in the ad looked like the Isotoner mules I’d bought maybe five years ago that lasted a good three years, They never fell apart like this pair did. These more expensive ones lasted less than four months. The “shoe” pulled away from the sole in September; I bought them May 23. That’s less than four months’ wear for a house shoe that cost $24. I’ll stick with leather that’s sewn together, and if I ever buy another Isotoner brand house slipper, it’ll be for my suitcase in…
