Not what I had expected.
Basics Hardware Interlocking EVA Foam Tiles not as described I have several different brands/generations of interlocking mats like these and all the previous sets fit together more or less perfectly. I have had good luck with other “Basics” products here, so I was expecting these mats to be as described. That is not the case; the mats are 20% thinner than the advertised dimensions: 24 x 24 x 0.5 inches. The product’s package correctly lists the thickness as 0.4 inches. Wouldn’t purchase these again. They help, but they are not slip resistant. I put them down on clean dry floor. My apartment has faux hardwood and I get up and exercise at 4 am in the morning. Some morning I do yoga, some I do aerobics, and some I do step. These slip on every one of those activities. The tile separate when doing yoga, slid when doing my aerobics and step. I had purchased them especial to help cut down on the impact noise of the step and my tennis shoes hitting the floor. They would have been great if they…
