A Winning Shine In Three Easy Steps
Step 1 – Start with a clean, dry car. Remove embedded contaminants from your paint with Griot’s Garage Paint Cleaning Clay. Step 2 – Apply One-Step Sealant with a 6” Random Orbital (or by hand) and Orange Polishing Pad. A little goes a long way. Work the product into the paint in a cross-hatch pattern. Once sealant has been applied to the entire car, let it dry to a light haze. Step 3 – Use a soft cloth to buff off One-Step Sealant to a deep shine. Here’s a tip: If sealant is difficult to remove, simply mist Griot’s Garage Spray-On Wax onto the surface, and it should remove easily. Good Stuff! This is my go-to car polish. I wash the car with Dawn to strip off old wax (the only reason to use dish detergent on a car), then remove surface contaminants with a clay bar. Then I apply the One-Step Sealant, using a light cutting pad on a dual action polisher. I use clean microfiber towels to remove the residue, buff it a little, and the car looks great.
