Good solid wood, shipping packaging almost guarantees it will be damaged. The thing that appealed to me most about this product, it did deliver on. That is, that it is a well-built solid-wood piece of furniture. It’s a bit smaller than I expected, but the sizing given in the specs is accurate. I thought it would be big enough, but once I got it up next to my bed, it’s still a bit of a jump up from the last step for my pup.
