Good mat. A bit soft. Don’t leave anything heavy on it overnight. A bit softer than I had hoped for. I used this as flooring for my home gym. My bench and squat rack made permanent creases in the floor after a days use. Not a huge deal if your equipment you plan to put on it is stationary and will not move. But, if you move a bench or something around prepare for obvious impressions left in the mat. I’ve put some wood slates down under the bench legs to help spread the surface area to reduce this issue. One day I’ll replace all this with a harder rubber floor…
Great looking, but functional, not so much.
I believe it was the cheapest option I found for 1″ thick foam, assembly took a little long because each piece comes attached with 2 edges that need to be removed for interior tiles, and I covered 4 orders worth of floor space for my VR room. Super easy to cut with a sharp knife, you’ll need to cut a little piece off the edge piece for interior corners. It’s also not perfectly consistent between each packaged set, but honestly it’s super minor and won’t bother me.Foam itself does…
